This case study revolves around an organization that manages daily tasks and operations of oil palm estates spread across vast, remote locations. The organization faced significant challenges due to reliance on manual, paper-based processes, experiencing issues such as difficulty in tracking workflows, frequent delays, and loss of essential documents. To address these challenges, a Workflow System for Plantation Operations (WSPO) was implemented on the Joget platform. The WSPO automated various core processes across 130 oil palm estates and their associated palm oil refinery mills, facilitating electronic recording and automated batch uploads of estate and mill output data into a centralized SAP system.
