What is Joget AI Composer?

Joget AI Composer is Joget's conversational approach to building enterprise applications; and the engine behind its Vibe Composition approach. Instead of manually configuring forms, workflows, data views, and interfaces, you describe what you want in plain language. Joget translates that into structured metadata,  the same format that defines and runs every Joget application, and assembles it directly inside the platform. This is not code generation. It is a configuration through conversation.

Is Joget AI Composer a standalone product?

AI Composer is a capability within Joget DX Enterprise Edition. It is powered by the AI Agent Builder engine and is available to any Joget DX Enterprise user who has AI Agent Builder set up.

What is the difference between Joget AI Composer and vibe coding?

Vibe coding uses AI to generate raw source code. Joget AI Composer generates governed application metadata, the same structured configuration Joget has always used to define and run applications. The output is immediately editable inside Joget's standard builders, auditable, and requires no code ownership or maintenance. The governance is built in from the first prompt.

Does Joget AI Composer replace the drag-and-drop builders?

No. AI Composer is purely additive. The builders are unchanged, drag and drop works exactly as it always has. AI Composer is simply a faster way in. You can switch between conversational and manual editing at any point.

Does Joget AI Composer work with custom or third-party plugins?

Yes. AI Composer reads the same live schema your Joget builders do, which means it is aware of every component in your specific instance, including any third-party plugins installed. If a component or field type exists in your builder, AI Composer can compose with it.

What LLM models does Joget AI Composer support?

AI Composer is BYOK: bring your own LLM API key. Claude (Anthropic) is the preferred and recommended model. OpenAI GPT-4.1 and above are fully supported. Configure your key inside the AI Agent Builder plugin.

What if the AI makes a mistake?

Since it generates metadata in a visual builder, you can manually undo, override, or delete any change the AI makes. You’re never stuck with the AI's "hallucinations."

What is required to access Joget AI Composer?

AI Composer runs on the AI Agent Builder engine, so you will need AI Agent Builder installed and configured with an LLM API key. Requires Joget DX Enterprise Edition v8.2.7 or v9.0.3 and above. AI Central Config is now part of AI Agent Builder: one setup covers everything.

How is enterprise governance handled in Joget AI Composer?

Every component AI Composer produces is standard Joget metadata, fully visible and editable in Joget's standard builders. Token usage is tracked through the Governance Dashboard in AI Agent Builder. Agent execution logs are available under Monitor → Agent Execution Audit Trail. Nothing goes into a black box.
