How Hume Cement Cut Purchase Approval Time From 2 Weeks to 3 Days With 100+ Digital Apps

Hume Cement, a subsidiary of the Hong Leong Group, was managing procurement, production, finance, and HR through paper forms and scattered satellite applications. Development required traditional coding, there was no centralised platform for employees, and duplicate processes were consuming time and resources.

Joget’s partner, TMS Software built an All-In-One Workflow Management System on Joget with 100+ enterprise applications deployed across all major departments. Purchase requisition and order approval turnaround time dropped from a typical two to four weeks down to three days. Two custom Joget plugins were also developed to further enhance productivity.

An All-In-One Workflow Management System was built on the Joget platform to digitalize and streamline the company business processes while facilitating inter-departmental communication.

More than 100 Joget enterprise applications were developed and deployed across multiple departments, including Procurement, Production, Finance, and Human Resource.

Upon implementation of the system, Hume Cement has been able to achieve significant improvements in their operations, such as increased efficiency and productivity, reduced human errors, and faster processing times. A team member was tasked with creating Joget subforms and dashboards without coding, providing a new level of customization and flexibility.
