eMedAsia Connects Healthcare Providers Through a Seamless Digital Marketplace for Clinics

eMedAsia, a joint initiative by the Malaysian Medical Association, needed a digital platform that would allow private clinics across Malaysia to order medical supplies, access telemedicine services, and manage lab referrals in one place. The challenge was building a robust backend that could handle supplier catalogues, clinic orders, and reporting without the complexity of traditional development.

Joget’s partner, TMS Software built the entire backend and administrative infrastructure on Joget, dramatically cutting development and implementation time. Clinics can now order equipment digitally, suppliers can register and upload catalogues seamlessly, and the platform generates real-time operational reports with graphs and analytics.

Challenges CHALLENGES

No Digital Procurement Platform

  • Needed an e-commerce platform that enables registered clinics and medical professionals to conveniently purchase medical supplies and equipment.

  • Needed to transform and digitalize the traditional purchasing methods used by clinics and doctors for clinical/medical equipment.

  • Needed to allow smaller clinics to purchase clinical/medical equipment in smaller quantities, helping them to reduce costs and eliminate the need to keep large inventories.

  • Looking for a comprehensive one-stop-solution catering to lab test requests, blood tests, and patient referrals to hospitals.
