On September 2, 2026, we brought customers, partners and technology leaders together in Kuala Lumpur for Joget NEXT 2026.
The centerpiece of the event was recognizing organizations that have successfully solved real business challenges and created meaningful impact using Joget.
This year’s honorees, together with the partners supporting them, showed what can happen when digital transformation is grounded in real needs and measurable outcomes.
The conversation then turned to what comes next. Guests heard how organizations can approach AI in practical and responsible ways, including a panel discussion that explored what a realistic, near-term AI use case could look like for a nonprofit like MAKNA (Majlis Kanser Nasional).
The AI Innovation Showcase brought those possibilities to life. Guests watched AI Composer turn a plain-language request into a working application, AI Agent Builder in action, and AI App Review automatically scan application components for potential security, performance, and design issues.
And the interest did not stop when the sessions ended. In conversations with guests, some were already thinking about how AI could support their own teams, while others were looking specifically at AI Agent Builder and how they could apply it to projects they are working on today.

Customer Recognition Award
Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA) — Meaningful Use of Technology
Sunway Group — Pinnacle Achievement
Tokio Marine Life Malaysia — Enterprise Excellence
MAKNA, Malaysia’s National Cancer Council, was recognized for Meaningful Use of Technology. Working with implementation partner TMS Software, MAKNA moved off a legacy PHP-based system and onto Joget, cutting development costs by around 80% while sharply increasing the number of patients it can support each year.
The system now supports cancer screening, financial aid, transport assistance, and volunteer coordination across 145 government hospitals nationwide. Read the full MAKNA case study.
Sunway Group received the Pinnacle Achievement award. Also working with TMS Software, Sunway replaced more than 300 legacy IBM Lotus Notes applications with modern, web and mobile-ready apps built on Joget, now supporting over 8,000 active users with a 30% reduction in development time and a 60% increase in operational efficiency. Tokio Marine Life Malaysia was recognized with the Enterprise Excellence award for building 10 business applications across the organization on Joget to improve operational efficiency, enhance team collaboration, enabling faster approvals, and ultimately driving business growth.

AMAST was recognized for Smart Innovation in Action. One of the newer names in Joget’s partner network, AMAST has moved quickly to champion the platform, recently taking a booth at the Penang Digitalisation & AI Conference 2026 to talk through how AI and automation can support business operations across sales, finance, and customer experience.
Innov8tif Solutions was recognized for Pioneering Technology Adoption. Innov8tif is best known in the Joget ecosystem for EMAS eKYC, an identity verification tool using face biometric and liveness checks that has become one of the most widely used integration on the Joget Marketplace.
Their implementation work follows the same thread: for one of Malaysia’s leading banks, they built a Customer On-Boarding System on Joget in three months, unifying onboarding across mobile, web, and branch into one build-once, deploy-everywhere platform.
Persys Technologies was recognized for Driving Strategic Impact. Persys brings deep domain expertise in banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) to its work on Joget.
The Sustained Excellence award honors TMS Software‘s long-standing relationship as Joget’s first-ever partner. This impressive track record runs through two of this year’s featured customer stories: both MAKNA and Sunway Group built their transformations in partnership with TMS.

Ideas on Stage
The day opened with a welcome note from Raveesh Dewan on the value of questioning consensus, drawing on a handful of well-known examples where the boldest call didn’t look safe at the time, but turned out right.
A panel discussion, “From Digital Transformation to What’s Next with AI,” followed, bringing Raveesh Dewan once again together with Vemanna Appannah and Christopher Chan, CEO of TMS Software, to talk through their own transformations and what’s next for AI.
True to its title, the panel also looked ahead: what a realistic, near-term use of AI might look like for a nonprofit like MAKNA, without losing sight of the human side of the work.
Dionnald Beh, Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure at Digile, closed the morning with a session on Digile’s Twinsight digital twin technology, exploring how Digital Twins, low-code development, and smart operations work best on one connected platform, an approach that speeds up development, supports infrastructure assets across their full lifecycle, and leads to better outcomes overall.
Joget AI Innovation Showcase
The Joget AI Innovation Showcase, led by Joget Inc.’s VP of Cloud Services – Hugo Lim, Damien Ng – Head of Solutions, Joget Inc., and Justin Wee – Customer and Partners Experience Manager, Joget Inc., under the title “From Delineation to Production, and Back,” looked at where AI fits across the full application lifecycle rather than just at the point of building.
The team walked through it as six stages: Compose, where AI Composer turns a plain-language description, such as a request for a vendor onboarding app with approvals and risk tiers, into editable Joget application metadata covering the form, workflow, list, UI, theme, and any agents involved; Extend, using the Agentic Plugin Generator; Assure, through AI App Review; Operate, in production; Diagnose, with AI Glowroot Analytics; and Improve, where what’s learned in production feeds back into the next round of composition, closing the loop.
The point they kept returning to: the person building the app stays in control throughout, able to drop into Joget‘s visual builders at any stage rather than working from AI output alone.
What’s Next for Joget
This year’s theme was “Connecting Innovators. Composing What’s Next Together,” and by the end of the day, that’s exactly what had happened. Customers, partners, and innovators spent the day sharing stories of what’s worked, admitting what hasn’t, and leaving with a clearer sense of what’s next. It’s the actual value of a day like this.
