    The Joget AI Agent Builder is a no-code/low-code tool that allows you to create intelligent AI agents using a simple drag-and-drop interface. Much like the Joget Form Builder, it’s designed for ease of use—even if you don’t have programming experience.

    You can build agents that understand natural language, rephrase questions, break down complex tasks, search the web, interact with communities, schedule demos, and more. These agents combine logic and language to automate smart interactions and workflows.

     

    It’s designed for both technical and non-technical users, including:

    • Process owners who want to automate repetitive tasks
    • Developers looking to integrate AI into workflows
    • Business analysts and team leads aiming to improve efficiency


    No coding skills are required, making it accessible to anyone familiar with basic workflow automation concepts.

    Joget AI Agent uses large language models (LLMs), such as OpenAI’s GPT, to understand input, generate intelligent responses, and perform actions. It doesn’t just answer questions—it follows instructions, makes decisions based on context, and integrates with tools or APIs to act on your behalf.

    Agents can be used for virtual assistants, automated support, content summarization, and intelligent workflow automation.

    Each AI agent consists of two key components:

     

    1. Define Agent (the brain):
    • Choose the LLM service (currently supports OpenAI’s GPT Model)
    • Set default prompts or instructions (e.g., “Summarize this document”)
    1. Task Setup:
    • Define what the agent should do step-by-step
    • Tasks include Prompts, Tools, and Enhancers
    • You can add multiple tasks that run sequentially

    Yes! You can define multiple tasks that execute in sequence. For example:

    Task 1: Fetch data from an API

    Task 2: Format the data

    Task 3: Send an email with the formatted result

    This gives you full control over how your AI agent behaves across complex workflows.

    Each task includes three optional components that run in a specific order:

    1. Prompt: Sends instructions to the LLM
    2. Tool (optional): Calls external services or APIs
    3. Enhancer (optional): Processes or stores the output

    Execution Flow: Prompt → Tool (if needed) → Enhancer (if defined)

    Yes! The AI Agent Builder offers a visual, drag-and-drop interface similar to the Joget Form and Process Builders. You can easily:

    • Drag prompts, tools, and enhancers into your tasks
    • Configure settings with simple forms
    • Preview and test your agent before deployment

    Use the built-in Preview tab to simulate and test your AI Agent:

    1. Run test scenarios
    2. View generated content
    3. Check request payloads and full responses
    4. Debug issues before going live

    Absolutely! Once created, your AI Agent can be added as:

    • A Process Tool in the Joget Process Builder
    • A Post-processing Tool in the Form Builder

    This allows seamless integration into your existing Joget applications and business flows.

    The AI Agent Builder plugin is compatible with Joget DX 8.1.0 and later versions. It is part of the Enterprise Edition only.

    The AI Agent Builder plugin bundle includes:

    • AI Agent Builder UI
    • Prompts, Tools, and Enhancers
    • Integration capabilities with external systems

    This gives you all the tools you need to design, test, and deploy intelligent agents within your organization.

    You can download the plugin from the Joget Marketplace. Make sure you’re logged into your account and using a supported version of Joget.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Download the plugin .jar file from the Joget Marketplace.
    2. Go to your Joget instance (local or server).
    3. Navigate to Admin Bar > System Settings > Manage Plugins.
    4. Click Upload Plugin and select the downloaded .jar file.
    5. Upload and activate the plugin.

    Once installed, the AI Agent Builder will appear in your App Composer under the AI Agent section.

    After installing the plugin:

    1. Go to an app in the App Composer.
    2. Under AI Agent, click Add New.
    3. Give your agent a name and description.
    4. Use the Define Agent section to set up your LLM (e.g., OpenAI model + API key).
    5. Configure one or more Tasks using prompts, tools, and enhancers.
    6. Test your agent in the Preview tab.
    7. Save and integrate it into your workflows.

    Yes. To use the AI Agent with OpenAI, you’ll need a valid LLM API Key, which you can obtain from OpenAI. Future versions will support additional AI services.
